Diana Krajnovich, 82, of Pingree Grove, died peacefully on March 28, 2023, in South Elgin.
Diana was born in Elmhurst on November 8, 1940, to parents Charles and Mildred (nee Nyquist) Dempsey. She worked for Borg Warner in Bellwood and retired in 2004. She loved watching Star Trek and western movies and tv shows, listening to old country songs, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a doting grandmother and enjoyed taking her grandkids to Disney World.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Nichole (Richard) Innes, her grandchildren, Kristie Cichon, Matthew Innes, and Ryan Innes, her brother, John Dempsey, her sisters-in-law, Donna Dempsey, and Jean Dempsey, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, James Cichon, and Kenneth Cichon, and her siblings, Russell Dempsey, Charles Dempsey, Arlene Rajcevich, Marshall Dempsey, and George Dempsey.
Cremation was private at DeFiore Funeral Home.
