Thomas G. Whitson, 68 of Huntley died peacefully, July 3, 2013 at his home.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road- Huntley. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Coletta of Wisconsin. N4637 County Road Y, Jefferson, WI 53549
Thomas was born February 22, 1945 the son of Bascom and Emmaline (Jones) Whitson. He served in the United States Navy. On August 12, 1967 he married Arlene Rasmussen. He owned and operated his own business until his retirement. He enjoyed working, gardening and his great joy was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, his two sons, Brian (Wendy) Whitson and Duane Whitson. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Thomas and Sarah. By his brothers and sisters, Bill Whitson, Bob(Christy) Whitson, Ben (Sandy) Whitson, Tim (Sondra) Whitson, Ellen Kennedy, Virginia Brotherton and by many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Brown Whitson and by his sister, Mae Steadman.
