Papa Joe was one of the early impressions of male adulthood in my life.

On behalf of my entire family, I would like to extend our condolences to all of your family on the passing of your father and our friend Joe. The loss of a parent is singularly devastating, particularly for those of us who were close to them. All of our thoughts and feeling are with all of you as you try to recover from such a loss. In time and through the love of others, you will feel the inner strength that evolves from having been blessed with such a wonderful parent. May God give you all the strength to heal from this loss and be at peace. Dom and Nadine

I recall meeting Joe in our sophomore yr, 1957. It was at freshsoph football. Joe was absolutely fearless on the football field trying and usually succeeding in taking out the opposition. He was just as fearless in his business, expecting the best from everyone especially himself. Second place was never good enough for Joe. My family and I will miss him. Jerry Coleman
