Jeanette Marie Granger, 50, of Antioch, died unexpectedly on April 18, 2023, with her fiancé, Brian Capaci.
Jeanette was born in Winfield on May 11, 1972, to parents James and Marlene (nee Pajak) Granger. Jeanette loved to have fun and was always found with a smile on her face. She loved to throw parties and celebrate holidays with her family. Jeanette was beautiful inside and out and was always dressed to the nines with perfect hair and makeup. Her sassy and energetic spirit brightened every room she entered. Jeanette loved to travel and be at the beach in the sun. She adored her children and grandchildren and often planned fun outings for them. She met Brian Capaci after being introduced through friends. She often called him her soulmate and the couple became engaged on New Year’s Eve 2021, ringing in 2022 together. Jeanette will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Julian (Desiree) Keller, Hayden Reich, and Taylor Reich, her grandchildren, Cameron and Meadow, her mother, Marlene Granger, her siblings, Michael (Daniel Smith) Granger, Patrick (Lori) Granger, and James (Korry) Granger, Brian’s children, Kylie Burns, Olivia Capaci, Joe Capaci, and Stevie Capaci, and Brian’s grandchildren.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her fiancé, Brian Capaci, and her father, James Granger.
Services were private at DeFiore Funeral Home.

Jeanette was most certainly a bright spot wherever she was. Such a blessing for my cousin Brian and his family! So sorry for the family with this tragic loss, prayers for you.

She was such a ray of sunshine, I wish I could have met her, but seeing her facebook pages, you can tell she loved her family and friends with all her heart. I am sending prayers for her family and friends. I am a cousin to Brian and he beamed when he was with her. God bless you and yours

To Jeanette’s family and friends. We’ve lived right next door to Brian and Jeanette. Always big beautiful smile she had. From snowmobile trips with them to dinners and comedy shows. My deepest condolences to all who loved Jeanette especially her tresured family. From the instant i met Jeanette 20 years ago we became best friends. It was impossible not to laugh & smile in her presence. I will forever cherish all the great memories we made together. I did not know Jeanette personal just what Brian told me about her, she was a true blessing for Brian he loved her with all his heart from what he told me. they will be missed.

We met Jeanette a couple years ago through Brian. We were so blessed to be a part of her life. She lit up the room with her beautiful smile and the times we had together were always full of laughter and great times. Our hearts are forever broken for her and Brian’s passing.
