Patrick Thomas Patterson, 33, of Crystal Lake, died June 26, 2023.
Patrick was born February 19, 1990, the son of Timothy and Phyllis Patterson. He graduated from Huntley High School and went onto earn his associate degree from McHenry County College. He was a sales consultant of Sysco Food Co. On October 22, 2016 he married his high school sweetheart, Samantha Zigler.
Patrick, Pat, “Trick” as he was affectionately known, was a kid at heart and the kindest person you could have ever known. Family was the happiest place, especially with Samantha and Owen. He was a Star Wars Lego guy and loved Marvel movies. He was an avid Indiana Colts fan. He became an ordained minister and performed many weddings and would start every wedding ceremony with, “My name is Pat Patterson and I love, love”. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.
Patrick is survived by his son, Owen, his parents, Timothy, and Phyllis Patterson, by his brothers, Brian (Meagan) Patterson, Shawn (Zachary) Patterson-Wolf and sister, Erin Patterson, his nieces, Mackenzie, and God-Child, Lexie, by his Godparents, Lisa Traficanti, and Patrick Patterson and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4-7pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at St. Mary Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Patterson Family to be used for Owen.
