Obituary

Kenneth “Joe” Warner, 85, of Huntley, died peacefully June 29, 2023.

He was born March 19, 1938 in Altoona, PA the son of Elwood and Myra Warner. He married Carol Kennedy on May 21, 1960, she preceded Ken in death. On June 24, 1967 he married Julia Drabant and she too preceded him in death in 2020.
He worked for Rixson Firemark (later Yale lock) for 52 years holding various positions within the company. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Sun City Anglers Club. He was hard working, kind and loved his family very much. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his children, Mary (Jeffrey) Tures, Joanne (Tim) Hintze and Michael Warner, by his grandchildren, Kerstin, Amy, James, Stephanie and Christine and by his great grandchildren, Ella, Matt, Robbie and Ivy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and wives Carol and Julia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 9am until the time of the 10am Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed for Masses for Kenneth and the family.
