Obituary

Pauline Amelia Schutt, 95 of Elgin died peacefully July 10, 2013 at her home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00pm with a service at 4:00pm all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Wesley United Methodist Church, Elgin, IL.
Pauline was born January 2, 1918 in Taylorville, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Amelia Elizabeth (Hielscher) Beck. In 1941 she married Fred Schutt at the Third Presbyterian Church in Springfield. Early in her career she worked as an operator for Illinois Bell and then as a bookkeeper in the insurance industry finishing her career at the Illinois State Museum in Springfield. Pauline was a lifelong member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Springfield until she moved to Elgin and became a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. For the last 26 years she has lived with her daughter and son-in-law in her own private apartment. Pauline lived a long and beautiful life surrounding by her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Frank) Summers, her son, Kurt(Penny) Schutt, her grandchildren, Eric West, Tia(Ryan) Carroll, Marc(Suzie) Schutt, and Kristin (Dawn) Schutt. She is also survived by her great grandson, Nolan Carroll and by her step grandchildren, John and Zach.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred and by one brother, Harry Beck and her sister, Marie Graczyk.

We are sending our love and thoughts to all of Pauline's family. She has always been as beautiful outside as she has been inside. She lived a good life with lots of love around her. God holds her dearly in His arms.

Mary and family Your mother was a dear lady and she will be missed by all. You and Frank were so good to her and we give you so much credit in making her life so happy. Know she is with the Lord and having a wonderful time free and hearing everything again. God bless you all for all you have done.
