Obituary

Talton “Bill” Futch, 75, of Crystal Lake, died peacefully in his home on July 21, 2023, with his wife and daughter at his side.
Bill was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 1, 1948, to parents Warren and Mary (nee Lewis) Futch. A friend introduced Bill to Julie Azzreatto and the couple were married on February 6, 1971. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and he bravely served his country in Vietnam. He was a devoted husband and father, and nothing brought him more joy than being able to take care of his loved ones. Bill was incredibly skilled with his hands, and he loved fixing things. He was a strong willed and independent man who enjoyed a good scratch off lottery ticket. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Julie Futch, his daughter, Debbie Keeton, his grandchildren, Jennifer (Randy) Zielinski and Joseph Keeton, his great-grandson, Lincoln Zielinski, his sisters, Katherine “Lucy” Caudill and Carlene (Donnie) Coots, many nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Lynn Futch, his parents, Warren and Mary Futch, his brothers, David Futch and Eugene “Dwight” Futch, his brother-in-law, Burchel Caudill, and his sister-in-law, Sandy Raithel.
Cremation was private at DeFiore Funeral Home.
He will be inurned at his family’s cemetery in Kentucky at a later date.
