Janice E. Derengowski, 79, of West Dundee, died on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Huntley.
Janice was born in Chicago on August 27, 1943, to parents Christian and Edna (nee Redman) Stirmell. Janice was a spirited and strong-minded woman who enjoyed watching old westerns and game shows, and visiting casinos. She loved using her tablet computer, and Cribbage was a family favorite card game. She was a devoted and loving mother who enjoyed being at home with her family most of all. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Janice is survived by her children, Lisa Derengowski and Jay Derengowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Nancy Cooper, and her beloved dogs, Shane, Nina, Gypsy, and Pug.
Services were private.
