Dolores E. Caputo, 88, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully July 31, 2023.
Dolores was born May 1, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of Dominic and Sylvia Spasbo. On April 27, 1957 she married Louis Caputo.
She worked at Marshall Fields for many years and had a great sense of fashion. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and shopping. Dolores enjoyed being home with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August3, 2023 from 1:00pm until the time of the 2:00pm Mass all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Louis and daughters, Vicki Caputo and Sharon Caputo. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Larry.
