Ingrid M. Kardynalski, 67, of Woodstock, died peacefully on August 3, 2023, with her family and friends by her side.
Ingrid was born on October 14, 1955. She married Ted Kardynalski on June 8, 1994, and the couple were married twenty-one years prior to Ted’s death on January 14, 2016. Ingrid loved to spend time outdoors fishing, gardening, and camping in the RV. She was a dear friend to many and never met a dog she didn’t love. Ingrid had a BIG heart and was always putting others first. She enjoyed life and was constantly looking out for her loved ones as if she was their own guardian angel. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Ingrid is survived by her brother-in-law, Tad Kardynalski, many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted Kardynalski.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 2 p.m. to time of prayer vigil 4:30 p.m. all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.

Ingrid was a kind woman who lived across the street from me in Huntley. She and I became close friends after the passing of our husbands within weeks of each other. We supported each other as we dealt with our grief and the loss of Ted and Ralph. I treasure Ingrid’s friendship and am thankful for all the ways she looked after me. She was a special lady.
My aunt will be missed by many including me. I am glad she will finally get to be with her beloved husband and my wonderful Uncle Ted
