Obituary

Richard J. Carusiello, 77 of Lakewood died peacefully, July 15, 2013 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am on Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley with visitation at church one hour prior. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Richard was born September 16, 1935 in Melrose Park, Illinois the son of Joseph and Carmella (Bracco) Carusiello. He married Kathleen Norris on February 12, 1955. He worked as a Police Officer for Melrose Park retiring as a Lieutenant. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed golf. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his children; Carmella (Michael) Cartina, Kathleen (Anthony) Salerno, Richard, Jr. (Laura), Gerald (Lori), Theresa(Joseph) Massie and Michael. He is survived by his 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Marco, Richard III, Gianna, Julianna, Arianna, Alexandra, Frankee, Kristina and Marisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Michael and one granddaughter, Gina and by his two brothers, Gerald and Jospeh.
