Louise Albright, 86, of Huntley, passed away on September 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Chicago on June 13, 1937, to parents Paul and Eleanor (Kresmark) Soraparu. Louise met her soulmate, James Albright, through mutual friends. They fell in love and were married on May 21, 1960; together they raised 4 children in Chicago. Louise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Outside of her home, she worked tirelessly and taught her family the value of hard work. While she had many accomplishments in life, nothing meant more to her than her 12 grandchildren. She loved each of them dearly and spoke of them often with so much pride. Louise especially loved the holidays as this meant spending time with her entire family. The only thing that rivaled her love for family was her love for sweets – Louise was not known to turn down a treat. She will be missed dearly by those lucky enough to have known her.
Louise is survived by her beloved husband James Albright, her children Lynda Albright, Jim (Denise) Albright, Steve (Megan Marcello) Albright, Nancy Arvidson, her brother Bob (Marilyn) Soraparu, along with her grandchildren Crystal, Garry, Eric, Kyle, Nina, Nik, Haley, Lainey, Jessica, Jamie, Emily and Joey and great-grandchild, Mae.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Eleanor (Kresmark) Soraparu, along with her brother Paul (Ann) Soraparu.
Visitation will take place on October 2, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Defiore Funeral home, 10763 Dundee Rd, Huntley 60142. Interment will be held privately.
