Obituary

Joyce M. McPhee of Huntley passed away on October 15, 2023. She was born in Chicago Illinois on November 22, 1932, to parents Everette and Edith (Anderson) Burhite. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Some of her favorite times were spent listening to music and dancing around the house with whomever. Joyce was a huge Chicago sports fan. She rooted for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bears. She would never miss a game. Joyce was extremely athletic; in her free time, she enjoyed playing golf.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Donald McPhee, her children Don (Sabrina) McPhee, Lisa (Jeff) Bell, son-in-law Mike Richenberger, her grandchildren Jackie (Sal), Steven (Katie), Stephanie, Donna, Bryan (Sarah), Emily (Lance) along with her great-grandchildren Don, Jackson and Brett, Drew, Luke, Leah, Carter along with her many nieces and nephews.
Joyce is proceeded in death by her daughter Linda (McPhee) Richenberger, her siblings Arlene “Toots” Carberry, Shirley Gollwitzer, Dale Burhite, Everette Burhite and her parents Everette and Edith (Anderson) Burhite.
A visitation will take place on October 19, 2023, from 9:00 am to time of service at 11:00 am, all will take place at West Ridge Community Church, 3300 Encounter Ln, Elgin, IL 60124.

It was so easy to spend time with and love Aunt Joyce. I have so many fond memories of her visits to our home in Arizona with her 2 sisters, Toots and Shirley. Love to you all.
