Chad Lagerstrom

Obituary

Chad David Lagerstrom I, 58, of Woodstock, died peacefully on November 7, 2023, with his family by his side.

Chad was born in Elgin on December 13, 1964, to parents Verne and Barbara (nee Schine) Lagerstrom I. He married Richelle Curley on June 5, 1999, and the couple shared many happy memories together.
Chad was a very dedicated and hard worker. He was the ultimate handyman, a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was very social, and enjoyed parties and making people laugh with his sarcastic and robust sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was very patriotic. Chad was a devoted husband and father, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family.
He worked hard, played hard, and loved hard.

Chad is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Richelle Lagerstrom, his parents, Verne and Barbara Lagerstrom, his children, Chad (Jami) Lagerstrom II, Sean (Aimee) Lagerstrom, Seth Lagerstrom, and Elle Lagerstrom, his grandchildren, Cason, Calla, Chad, and Sutton, his siblings, Lori Sharpsteen, and Verne Lagerstrom II, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 4 p.m. to time of Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
