Dominick Demonica, 88, of Huntley, passed away on November 19, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 27, 1934, to parents Fred and Anna (Signorelli) Demonica and proudly served in the United States Army. He fell in love with Joan Nelson while attending a family wedding and they married soon after. During their 61 years of marriage, Dominick was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his family and worked tirelessly in the moving industry to make sure they always had whatever they needed. Dominick was an avid reader of the Sunday newspaper while enjoying his morning cup of coffee and loved figuring out how things worked. He had a tool for everything and always had plans to work on his next project. Everybody that knew Dominick knew him as a kind, caring, giving person who loved to joke and have fun with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
Dominick is survived by his beloved wife Joan, his children Renee (Norm) Ritzel, Dominick Demonica, Kristine (Pete) Flores and his cherished grandchildren Lauren, Emma (Brant), Eric (Molly) and Kate.
Dominick is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Anna (Signorelli) Demonica along with his brother Joseph (Anna Mae) Demonica.
A vistiation will take place on November 24, 2023 from 9:00 am to time of mass at 10:00 am, all held at St. Mary Catholic Church 10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142.
