Obituary

Anthony W. "Tony" Powers, 66 of Huntley, formerly of Schaumburg & Elgin, passed away on Tuesday, July 30th following a short illness.

Anthony graduated from Purdue University and had been a business consultant in the Chicago area. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed photography. They moved to Huntley in 2012.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona, son, Timothy (Christine) Powers, daughter, Katharine (Grant) Chleborad, step-sons, Peter (Stefanee) Biegler and Kevin (Christine) Biegler, his grandchildren, Brenna, Reaghan, Haley, Alexander, Lily, Andrew, Shelby, Isabelle, Jack, Patrick & Ella Jane, his brothers and sisters, Philip (Pam) Powers, Leslie(Janelle)Powers, Steve Powers, Barbara Powers, William (Sarah) Powers,Debbie (Michael) Williams and his sister-in-law, Janice Lyter.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10th all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Lot of good memories of Wabasso Beach, and the Vero Youth Center and the Summer visits to Vero, God bless all of you
