Carol Ann Johnson, 82, of Pingree Grove, formerly of St. Charles died peacefully at her home on December 14, 2023, she journeyed home to her Lord and Savior.
Carol was born On November 14, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Alan and Esther Johnson. She graduated in 1960 from North Park Academy. She went on to work as legal assistant for BP/Amoco and later worked at Carson’s, she always kept working her last most recent job was at Costco. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Christine (Ken) Dilillo, by her beloved grandchildren, Emily (Gehrig) Ribeiro, Sarah DiLillo, and Nicholas DiLillo and by her sister, Beverly Di Modica.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11am until the time of the 1pm service all at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.

I am so saddened by Carol’s passing. I was so hoping to get to know her better as she was a new member of Trinity Church. We had an instant bond which I so appreciated. God bless her in her new home.
