As President of the Cyclones Amateur Hockey Association and on behalf of the entire organization, I would like to extend our sincerest condolences. I did not know Jared, but I do know that coaches are special people who dedicate an enormous amount of time and energy to the benefit of our youth. This is sad news, but I know the hockey community and it always rallies around those who are in need of support. If we can do anything, please do not hesitate to ask, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

As his former colleagues from Fermilab we were deeply saddened by the news of Jared’s passing. He was smiling person and gentle soul, his sense of humor and funny stories always attracted people to stop by in his office just to say “hello” to him; when he left Fermilab there was most memorable farewell party we ever had, so many people came to wish him “Good luck” and better opportunity in his life. He always will be remembered for making people smile and bringing laughter in their lives. It’s difficult to think of this world without him. Our thoughts are with his boys and family during these difficult times.
