John Ziegler

Obituary

Our Dad, John W. Ziegler (67) left this world just after midnight on April 14,2024.
Despite struggling with many health issues, Dad continued to live life. He enjoyed cruises on his motorcycle, popping by one of our homes for a visit while on his way up north for a burger. Dad was a fishing enthusiast and member of The Midwest Anglers. From boating, fishing, BBQing, and weekends up north, there is no shortage of the number of memories he built for us. He showed unconditional love, made sure to say I love you, and always told us and everyone how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. We take pride in knowing the greatest supporter, mentor, hardworking, and loving dads we’ve ever known.

He leaves behind his cherished wife Angela; adored children Buffy (Jimmy) Yatos, Amy (Danny) Javed, William (Vicki), James (Dina); and his treasured grandchildren DJ, Angelyn, Anthony, Sammi, Sophi, and Dominick. He is affectionately remembered by his family and many friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with prayers at 3:00 pm all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Rd, 60142. In lieu of flowers, his children are asking for outdoor plants and flowers to grow in his memory.
