Violet Mary Andrucci, 88, of Huntley, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was born May 29, 1925, in St. Petersburg, FL. the daughter of Charles & Rose Schaub. Violet loved spending time with her family and was an avid animal lover. She played a beautiful piano and everyone enjoyed her sense of humor and her distinctive laugh.
Survived by her are her children, Judy (Joe) Laytham, Michael (Barbara) Seifert, Janice(Robbie Childers) Kier, Loretta (James) Donlan; Grandchildren; Donovan (Tara) Brizzi, Denise (Rob) Abear, Jeremy (Shannan Chehade) Brizzi, Ann Marie Seifert, Julie (Brian) Cullen, Jessica (Bill Handler) Jastrowski, Jennifer (Michael Walker) Jastrowski, James Jastrowski, Jr,. Great Grandchildren; Ashley, Caitlyn, Cheyenne, Jonathan, Cynthia, Michael, Anna and Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her beloved Harry Klich, brother Robert Schaub, husbands Albert Andrucci, Chester Kier and Emil Seifert.
The memorial gathering will be from 3 to 6 p.m., service at 5pm, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL 60142. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorials be made to the Save-a-Pet Adoption Center, P.O. Box 266, Grayslake, IL 60030.
