Sherrill was full of life and much laughter and very generous in reaching out to others and family. I am thinking with much love for her family. You will always be apart of my life with much love. I'm so sorry to hear of Sherill's passing. She was a lovely person and her smile so infectious. Prayers for her and her family for consolation.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
I join along with Sherrill's family and friends in our sadness of her passing, and in our thanks to Sherrill for all of the happiness she shared with us. Sherrill was a wonderful, friendly, delightful person. I met Sherrill on my first day in the Public Works Department for the Village of Arlington Heights. I was getting a tour through the Village Hall to see where the offices were, of the various Departments that I would be interacting with. Entering the Engineering Department Office, there she was with a big friendly smile and a "welcome to the Village greeting. Through my 20 years with the Village, I frequently needed to call Engineering to discuss/ get information from one of the Engineers. Sherrill would answer if the party was out of the office, giving me the opportunity for a brief friendly conversation with her. Every conversation with Sherrill was guaranteed to lift my spirits and make me smile. Thank you Sherrill.
I worked with Sherrill in the Engineering Dept. for her whole tenure. Ever kind, always cheerful, and an openness of her heart & spirit that just drew you in to let you know she cared for how your day was going, and how you were doing! Many times we shared conversations & stories about family events we were going through, and her empathy let you know that I had a true friend……. and one that I will miss dearly! You can tell from all the folks leaving notes and responding, that Sherrill’s Spirit touched and was in everyone she met. In that sense this wonderful lady & her energy lives on, here on earth as well as in heaven! God Bless you Sherrill!
My condolences to the our family. I am sorry to here our cousin has past away she was a great person and she will be missed.
