Keith and I have been good friends from the time we first met at Sacred Heart grade school in Lombard in 1952 (72 yrs.). Although we had not seen each other in resent years, we continued to maintain contact through cell phone communication. Whenever we talked, Keith always brought-up the fact that I was his longest living friend. We did many things together in our younger years; college roommates, contruction jobs in the summer at Lombard Lumber, serving our country in Vietnam (Air Force/Navy) and proceeding on to Corporate work; Baxter Healthcare and Motorola. Also, both married to our brides for 62 yrs.; he introducd me to Mary Kay through mutual friends, the Goessele's, at a summer resort on Trout Lake, Wis. in 1959. (Keith and I had a bond that could not be broken.) A great man, truly devoted to Kathy, their children, and extended family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this difficult time.

Keith was my big boss at Motorola. I reported to Rusty Brashear. When we realized we were both Theta Chi Brothers from Bradley, we became much friendlier, though I was far Junior to Keith. He was always a man generous with his time, patient, and had a skill for listening. In business, he had great vision, though not always right, he had a gut feeling about things that most often turned out prescient. I will always appreciate knowing Brother Bane in professional life. "The Helping Hand." Always. Love to all of the Bane family and know he touched many lives.
