Adam F. Strzok, 87, of Huntley, formerly of Arlington Heights, died August 5, 2024 with his family by his side.
Adam was born in Chicago to parents who immigrated from Poland, Catherine (Lach) and Joseph Strzok”
He proudly served in the United States Army and was a paratrooper. On June 30, 1972 he married Patricia L. Serwatka. He started his career as a Chicago Policeman and worked as a detective and then went on to work as a US Custom Agent.
He and Patricia raised their family in Arlington Heights. Adam liked to be the boss; he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed tennis. He wintered in Hilton Head, a place he loved. Adam was also known to enjoy diet soda every once in a while. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Strzok, his children, William (Shawnean) Lombardo, Beth (Dave) Jamnik, Debbie Strzok, Carolyn Anderson, and the late Jamie Lombardo, by his grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Christopher, Savannah, Catherine, Chloe, Jack, Jillian Courtney, and Jonathan.
Adam was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Jean, and Evelyn and by his son Jamie.

I first met Adam in 1971 when I signed on as a Special Agent with U.S. Customs. I worked along side of him on many occasions. He was very hard working, dedicated and professoal in his work, We all appreciated his amazing sense of humor even in tough and stressful situations. He has been a continued friend to so many of us in retirement. My condolences to his wonderful wife Pat, his children and grandchildren.
Adam and I were Special Agents in Chicago for many years. He was always dependable and full of fun and made people laugh. I will miss him.
