Obituary

Judith A. Grieshaber, 82, of Huntley, died peacefully, November 14, 2024 with her family by her side.
Judy was born March 17, 1942 the daughter of Joseph โ€œLeonโ€ and Teresa Stone. On May 18, 1963 she married Art Grieshaber. She was a librarian for the Schaumburg Library and later worked in the counseling department of the school.
Judy was a loving mother, wife and grandmother, all the roles that brought her immense joy. Anything grandchildren was pure love for her, she enjoyed baking and playing games with her grandchildren. She was meticulous and always made sure everything was clean and put in its place. Judy was devoted to her faith and could talk to anyone. Judy enjoyed flowers and enjoyed dancing. Judy was that person who could light up a room just by walking in. Her kind heart and loving way will be missed by all who know her.
She is survived by her husband, Art Grieshaber, her children, Chris (Dave) Mattoon, Sandy (Tim) Camodeca, Denise (Mark) Clark and Chuck (Ann) Grieshaber. Eight grandchildren, Alex, Nicole, Patrick, Ashley, Alexis, Christopher, Joe and Luke, by her siblings, twin sister, Patricia, Kay, Barbara, Marcia, Mike, Joe, and Joann, she is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Sr. Charlene Grieshaber and Clara Mae Grieshaber.
The visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4-8pm at DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23 from 9-10 am with Mass at 10am all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary/St. Vincent DePaul Society.
