Edna Mae Stuart, 94 of Huntley died peacefully October 14, 2013.
Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road Huntley, with Rev. Lance Lackore officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Heights Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to First Congregational Church-11628 Main Street, Huntley,IL.
Edna was born June 6, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Edward and Martha Jepsen. She married Carl H. Stuart on September 6, 1941. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sears. She enjoyed traveling, golf, playing bridge and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (David) Williams, Judy (Arthur) Strauss, she is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and6 great grandchildren and also by her sister, Phylliss (William) Siffermann.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Stuart.
