Donna Marie Bongiorno, 70, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
She was born on May 30, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Lorraine (Romito) DiDomenico. After moving from Chicago, she called Norridge, Illinois home for over 20 years. She worked as a Manager for Atlas Uniform until her retirement. She was a lifelong, devout follower of the Catholic Church.
Donna enjoyed spending time with friends, whether enjoying local restaurants or traveling to Las Vegas. She spent much of her free time solving word searches and listening to live music. She loved spending time with her family.
Donna is survived by her daughter Lisa (Michael) Van Wazer; two grandchildren, Jennah and Tyler Van Wazer; and her dearly loved grand-puppies, Daisy and Poppy.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brothers, John and James DiDomenico.
A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at a later date. DeFiore Funeral Home has been trusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
