Dear Chester, Julie and Anna! Were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother Carmella! I always remember Carmella with a warm smile on her face and welcoming personality. Carmella was also an excellent cook and baker. I always thought that she could have her own baking show because of the wonderful food she made and her great personality. Sandy remembers Carmella making Taralli for her bridal shower. Your mother was a person who was very warm and kind and loving and will always be remembered and missed by all who knew her. Cousin Bill and Sandy!
What a beautifully written obituary. Blessings.
We didn’t know this wonderful lady! We do know her through her daughter, Anna. She raised great children. Anna greets everyone with a smile at Northwestern Health and Fitness in Huntley.
Dear Anna, I never met your mom, but truly feel that I knew her. In many ways she reminds me of my mom. My heart goes out to you and your family. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
I worked with Carmella for many years at Algonquin Jewel. I loved her for her feisty, tell it like it is personality. She loved to cook and share recipes with all of us. I still have her handwritten tiramisu recipe in my recipe files. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.
