Joseph Pioli, 95, of Huntley, died peacefully, February 2, 2025
Joseph was born December 24, 1929 in Italy the son of Nello and Rosa Pioli. On May 4, 1963 he married Natalina Peccioli. He came to the United States and began working and soon owned and operated his own restaurants and bars. His heart was always in Italy and he and his family enjoyed many summer vacations in Italy. He was an avid, award-winning Bocce player and earned many medals. Joseph was hard working, was a proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed good food and good wine. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Natalina Pioli, his daughter, Elizabeth (Kevin Lindquist and his children Colton and Kendall) Fishman, by his granddaughter, Rebecca and by his sister, Anna Ballocchi. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marina Pioli.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4-7pm with prayers at 6:30pm at DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be private at Hampshire Cemetery.
