Patricia K. Phillips, 79, of Huntley, died peacefully and went home to be with her heavenly Father, February 2, 2025 at Journeycare Hospice of Barrington, with her family by her side.
Patricia was born on February 10, 1945, the daughter of Elmer Sr. and Merilles (Wright) Wacker. She attended St. John Lutheran School in Elgin and was the first in her family to graduate from high school in 1963. On July 7, 1968 she married Steve Phillips. She had a huge heart and loved people, especially her family. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards, bowling and spending time by the pool.
Patsy worked for Rinn Dental supply company of Elgin, for many years, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over thirty years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, children, Mark (Rachel) Phillips, Bret (Amber) Phillips, Lori Jo Phillips, and Amanda (Kevin) St. Clair, by her grandchildren, Sean (Bev), Tyler (Emily), Micah, Payton (Dani) and Hannah(Alec) and by great grandson, Ferris, she is also survived by her siblings, Barb, Linda, Elmer and Paula. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Sharon, Beverly, Donna, Donnie, Karen and Jeannie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 4-7pm at DeFiore Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Huntley. There will be a second visitation at Church on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
