Bob was born on April 6, 1946 in Germany to Walter and Stella Skonieczny. He married Teresa “Terry” Myszkowska on August 20, 1966. She preceded him in death on July 4, 2020.

Bob and Terry spent most of their lives together in Gilberts. He served as the President of TESKO Enterprises for over 50 years.

In his younger years, Bob enjoyed trap shooting, bowling and tennis; he also loved cultivating, growing, and pruning his roses. He was an avid reader, and as he got older, Bob loved to play golf. In business, he was a master at acquiring, engineering, and executing complex architectural metal fabrication projects. Above all, he was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

Additionally for 35 years, Robert Peterson was like a son to Bob (and Terry); Roberts children, Lucciana and Reise widened their circle of grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Skonieczny, a brother, Lester (Krystyna) Skonieczny, and his beloved Golden Retriever, Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm, with a prayer service at 5:30 pm, at DeFiore Funeral Home – 10763 Dundee Rd. Huntley, Illinois 60142. Memorial donations are suggested to Animal House Shelter, a charity near and dear to Bob’s wife, Terry.
