Roberta P. Bednowicz, 84, of Gilberts, formerly of Elmwood Park, died peacefully, March 26, 2025.
Roberta was born August 6, 1940 in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Hanish. She was always active in her Church and was a member of the Elmwood Park and St. Vincent Ferrer Senior Clubs. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bernard) Calvaresi, Greg Bednowicz and Scott (Deann) Bednowicz, by her grandchildren, Jason (Christina), Joseph, Jordan (Zach), Taylor (Luke) and Dakota, and by her great grandchildren, Amelia, Eleanor, Laine, Jackson and Benjamin. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lawrence and sister-in-law, Bernadine.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 9am until the time of Mass at 10am all at St. Celestine Church-3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park, IL. The interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
