Kathleen T. Sharin, 78, of Huntley, died peacefully, May 7, 2025 with her family by her side.
Kathleen was born April 28, 1947 the daughter of Italo “Bill” and Adeline Luisi. She worked for IBM and Lexmark as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She was an avid reader and talented cross stitcher. Faith, family and friends were very important to her, her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandson, Mason. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her. She faced and fought many challenges in her life with MS and Cancer, beating them both before her recent new challenge with Cancer once more.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Jeff (Krissy) Sharin, her grandson, Mason Sharin. By her sister, Cory Hehn (Jim Lloyd) and her nieces, Margie Kopper (Scott) and Cathy Simkowski (Zac), and many beautiful great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9-10am with Mass being celebrated at 10am all at St. Mary Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Association.

My heart is aching for the loss of Kathy. She was a great friend who came into my life when I needed her! Even though we haven't spoken in many years, she will be missed. My prayers go out for her and the family. ❤️🙏❤️

I am trying to find the words to express my deepest condolences to Kathy’s family. She was truly an Angel. I will never and have not forgotten her kindness she gave me, when I was diagnosed with cancer. She did not hesitate to comfort me. I am just heartbroken. May her Memory Be Forever Eternal. 🙏🏻
