Dear Neighbor Al... We will miss your almost daily visits to our home to do the more challenging crossword puzzles in the local newspapers. Many happy and humorous memories. We love you Al. Jerry and Patty...

Al was very dear to both of us. We shall always miss him. Since Jack is too sad to write, I am writing for the two of us. Jack has known Al since he was very small and Al was like a big brother to him. When we came to the States, both Al and Dorothy made me feel like I had always been part of the family. We shall never forget the wonderful trip that we made together, and your visit to Israel. Al was an outstanding person, open, very bright, very sensitive, empathic and socially aware. Al and Dorothy were a marvelous couple , an exemple to every man an woman who love each other. We are with Dorothy and the kids in their sorrow.

I am a member of the BG Singers along with Jim. Additionally, I was raised in Skokie, and my younger brother was a classmate of Jims. My wife and I are thinking of you and your families at this time of great loss. May his memory always be a source of pride and strength for you.

Our 7 years in Huntley Illinois were very special but were made most special by meeting and knowing Al and Dorothy Litwin. As one of my clients a visit to Al's house was always a treat. His personality and wit made me a happier person when I left. He will be missed. Dorothy and the children our condolences to you.

Dear Jim - I am terribly sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is a very difficult thing (I lost my mother 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 84). Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you, your mom, your brothers and the rest of your family. Your father is in a better place and resting comfortably in God's hands now. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Litwin family.

Dear Dorothy, we are so very sad to learn that Al has passed away. We so enjoyed getting together with you both and I remember with great fondness the good times we had in New York together - eating at the famous deli and going to the Broadway shows. Much love to you and all your family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

When I first met Al in March 1985 I sought his advice on opening my own business. The first thing that he said was "can I talk you out of it" in his joking manner. He and Nancy were my accountants for the 25 years I was in business. He was a great man and will surely be missed by all.My deepest condolences.

To Uncle Al - we will miss you greatly especially your positive attitude. Even though you scared me as a young girl (Wash & Report) you were a teddy bear in disguise. Just know, it was a pleasure!!

If a man is measured by wealth by how much he was loved, then Uncle Al was a very wealthy man. We will miss you very much. Lots of love, Becky, Brent, Jacob and Jaden
