Dr. Alice Giese, 77, died peacefully June 25, 2025 with her daughter, Kara and her sister, Barbara by her side.
Alice was born November 24, 1947 in Hawaii. She earned her doctorate from Walden University. She worked as a nurse and later in nursing administration. Nursing was her calling and her way of giving back. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was devoted to her faith. Alice enjoyed traveling especially on trips with her daughter, Kara. She was an avid reader. Her legacy she leaves is one of service to others and being devoted to her family and her faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Kara(Jeff) Martin, sister, Barbara (Larry) Saar, sister-in-law, Karen Robbins and by many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by good friends Judy and Steve Gawron.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Kenneth, her, ex-husband, Wayne, and brother-in-law, George.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from Noon until the time of Mass at 1pm all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Wisconsin at a later date.
