Jean L. Luck, 84 of Huntley, died peacefully September 10, 2025 at her home.
Jean was born September 27, 1940 in Italy, the daughter of Anthony and Maria Jelic. On July 23, 1960 she married Roman Luck. Jean always puts other before herself. She took great joy in making Sunday dinner with family. She enjoyed taking of others, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Michael Luck, grandchildren, Michael, Jr. (Diana), Brandon (Alexis), and Crystal (Zoe) and by great granddaughter, Macy. She is also survived by her brothers, Sam Jelic, Joe (Josephine) Jelic, and Nick (Linda) Jelic. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roman and by her twin great grandchildren, Brantley and Hudson
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 3-6pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A second visitation will be held on Monday at Church from 9am until the time of the Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church -10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. The burial will be at Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Kidney Foundation.
