John T. Hogan, 75 of Huntley, died peacefully on December 12, 2013.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley with visitation at church one hour prior. Visitation will be on Sunday 4:00 to 8:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road. Cremation and burial will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
John T. Hogan was born February 4, 1937 in Chicago,IL. He was the former Director of Data Processing for the Chicago Transit Authority.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene (Gulliford) Hogan, his son, Theodore, stepdaughters, Debra (Frank) Scumacci, Laurie (Peter) Cullotta and Julie (Bryan) Kruskol, and his grandchildren Kelsie, Nicolette, Juliana, Kyle, Katie, Ralph, Cameron and Ariana. Dear brother of Jean (Leo) May, Anthony (Theresa) Hogan, Mary (Michael) Lambesis, Margaret (Jerry) Ernst, Jane (Don) Junis, Andrea Hogan, Barbara Hogan, James (Mary Clare) Hogan, and Theresa (Tim) Macijuna.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Lawrence (Dolores) Hogan, Gerald (Cora) Hogan, Donald (Hanna) Hogan, Patricia (Eugene) Vilimek and Bernard (Loretta) Hogan.
