Mary A. Mahon, 67, died peacefully, January 17, 2026.
She was born October 2, 1958 the daughter of Jospeh and Margaret Mahon. Following high school she worked as an operator for ATT. She enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed her time spent in Colorado.
Mary is survived by her children, Rose Ballard (Paul), Katie Bjornsen and Peter Grimson, by her siblings, Briget (James) Soukup, William (Kathy) Mahon, Mary Anne Mahon, David Mahon and Michael (Monique) Mahon and by her nieces and nephews, Tammy, Sandra, Claire, Eri, Ian, Nick, Alex, Emily and Kevin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and oldest brother Joseph.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 8:30am til 9:30am at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Entombment will be on Friday at 11am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 3801 West Morgan Avenue
