Carol A. Stirn, 84, of Huntley died January 30, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 9-10am at St. Mary Church with a Mass being celebrated at 10am. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Carol was born January 3, 1941 in Chicago, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn Berglund. In 1960 she married the love of her life, George Stirn, She worked at the phone company and for Motorola. Her greatest joy was caring for her children.. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband George, her daughter Karen (Bob) Kozlow, grandchildren, Dana and Darcy and by two great grandchildren, and by her two sisters, Barbara and Diane. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert

Carol was a wonderful neighbor. We loved when her and George would sit at the patio, giving us encouragement and compliments on our additions to our yard and patio
