Donna Marie Felkamp
January 5, 1949 – February 7, 2026

Donna Marie Felkamp (77) of Huntley, IL passed away peacefully at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday February 7, 2026, after a lengthy battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

Donna was born on January 5, 1949, in Chicago, IL to William Malo and Ann Marie Malo (Falet). She was the oldest sibling to her sister Joyce Mallery (John Haskell) and her brother Bill Malo.

Donna graduated from Queen of Peace High School in 1967 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Illinois University in 1971. After completing her degree, she returned to her Alma Mater and taught English and Typing from 1971-1977.

On October 13, 1972, Donna met John Wayne Felkamp at a bar in Mt. Greenwood, IL. Ten weeks later, on Christmas Eve, John proposed. John and Donna were married on July 29, 1973, and remained happily married for the next 52 years.

John and Donna were blessed with two sons, Christopher (Amanda) and Ryan (Kari), and one grandson Grayson, who she adored.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents William and Ann Marie, and her brother Bill.

Donna loved to dance and loved all types of music. From dancing in college to dancing at concerts at Sun City, her love of music was constant throughout her life. Above all, Donna loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her commitment to the men of her life shined brightest of all, and she was always there to listen, laugh, and offer a positive word and prayer. She was an active member of all her church parishes and sung in her church choirs for many years.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee-Huntley Road, Huntley, IL. A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. A celebration luncheon will be held after services.
