Obituary

Judith Kay Hamma, 68 of Huntley, passed away on Saturday morning, August 13, 2011 at Provena-St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin following a lengthy illness.
Judith K. Hamma was born May 8, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Erma (Eicher) Trunnell.? She was raised and educated in Davenport graduating from West High School in 1961.? She was united in marriage to Dennis (Mike) Hamma and the couple made their home in Rolling Meadows.? Judith worked in customer service for many years most recently for Acme-Distributor Sales in Des Plaines until her retirement in 2008.? Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them.? In earlier years she was active in drag racing and a snowmobiling.?
Judith is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Robert) Hogue of Lake In The Hills, former husband and good friends, Mike (Kathy) Hamma of New Market, TN and her grandchildren, Cory, Cody & Dalton Koeller.? She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children, Theresa & Todd, her sister, Betty and her brother, Jim.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20th from 1:00 &ndash; 4:00 p.m. at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, with a Service of Remembrance at 4:00 p.m. ?In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.?

She will always be in are heart. She was just a wonderful womengrandma. No one had anything bad to say about her because she was there for everyone. I love you grandma, Love Dalton
