Nettie “Jean”Tomlinson, 71 of Huntley died peacefully January 2, 2014 at Journeycare Hospice in Barrington.
A visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be 11:00 am January 11 at the funeral home.
Nettie was born October 18, 1942 the daughter of Thomas and Virginia (Burleson) Underwood. On September 19, 1964 she married Roger Tomlinson.
She is survived by her husband Roger of fifty years, her children, Ronald (Patricia) Tomlinson and Robert Tomlinson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Olivia and Noah and by one sister, Ellen Minor.

Roger and the family of Nettie "Jean" - I was so sorry to hear about Nettie Jean. She was such a sweet and lovely person. I have good memories of her in high school. She will always be in our hearts and minds. I was so glad she was able to come to our 1963 class reunion in August and I had the opportunity to talk with her and spend time with her.
