Helen Foerster of Huntley passed away peacefully by her family on February 22, 2026.
She was born in Germany on January 19, 1946 to Steven and Gene Fijor. She married Alvin A. Foerster on February 20, 1966 and together they had 2 children, Alvin "Al" (Lisa) Foerster, and Katherine Hillegomds. She was a cherished Grandmother to "AJ" Alvin Joseph (Anastasia) Foerster, Faith Foerster, Alex Hillegomds, and Erin (Devin) Whitelow.
Helen was the devoted sister of Charlie (Jerry) Legal and Chester Fijor.
She was preceded in death by her adoring parents.
Memorial Service will be Sunday March 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm until a time of service at 2:30pm at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Rd. Huntley, IL 60142
Services will be conducted by Pastor Jim Fu.

I met Hellen shortly after moving to Del Webb She was a super nice lady. She will bee missed.
