
Richard Ignatius Koltunski, 97, of Crystal Lake, formerly of the Milwaukee Metropolitan area, died peacefully on March 22, 2026.
Richard was born on February 1, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Anton and Josephine (Branski) Koltynski. On February 18, 1950, he married the love of his life, Delphine Langer. Richard dedicated many years of his career to Rockwell Automation, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.
Richard was the cherished husband of the late Delphine Koltynski (née Langer), who preceded him in death on April 16, 2008. He was a loving father to the late Dennis Kohl and is survived by his daughter-in-law, Emma Kohl of Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Tony (Stephanie) Kohl of Chicago, Illinois.
Richard will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to his family, and the values he instilled in those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m., all at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 S. McHenry Avenue, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
