Joseph Pecoraro, 93, died peacefully on April 22, 2026, with his family by his side.
Joseph was born on June 1, 1932, in Chicago, the son of Rosario and Sarah Pecoraro. In April of 1952, he married Marilyn Grace Bailey. He proudly served in the National Guard and went on to work as a sheet metal worker. Joseph was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He was also a history enthusiast and enjoyed learning about various wars.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Pecoraro, Bonnie (Bob) Jordan, and Glen (Beth) Pecoraro; his 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Marilyn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m., all at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 845 W. Main Street, West Dundee, Illinois 60118. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Joe did work for us on our home in Belvidere. We lived down the road from him and his family growing up. So sorry for your loss. He was a great man. With deepest sympathy.
