Saisana “Sai” Luangnikone, age 60, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at 4:00 a.m. surrounded by his family. Born on June 4, 1965 in Savannakhet, Laos, he journeyed over to America in 1980 to build a life full of purpose, love and dedication to those he held dear.
Saisana was a man of deep strength and kindness. Whether through his work, his hobbies, or the quiet moments he spent with his family, he left an inedible mark on everyone who knew him. He carried the traditions of his heritage with him while planting deep roots for his children and grandchildren to flourish.
He is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved mother, Bounlune Luangnikone; and Father in law, ThongOne Vongphakdy, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Abby “Konkeo” Luangnikone; his children Valena (Scott) McGinnis, Jon Luangnikone (Anita Syvongsa); his three cherished grandchildren, Carter, Emma, and Kailer.
He also leaves behind his Father, Synhom Luangnikone; his older sisters, Phitsamai Luangnikone and Somsanith Luangnikone; his younger brothers, Kai Luangnikone, Souk Luangnikone, and Seng Luangnikone; Mother in-law, Lasy Vongphakdy, and large extended family of many brother in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews who will miss his guidance and presence dearly.
