Samuel R. Fusco Sr. " Papa", age 81 of Pingree Grove, IL. died peacefully, April 28, 2026, surrounded by his family. For Samuel his family and children were his life. His sense of humor was one of the highlights of all of his involvements with those he engaged with, always quick to share a joke with you. He loved his John Deer, Sunday Bears games and sausage onion pizza. His children were truly the love of his life, and would always tell them each, how they were His favorite one ! Samuel's grandchildren were ALL his favorites ! For him life was spectator sport and his family lovingly took center stage, always! He will be greatly missed by all those who had the blessing to know him. He was born in Chicago January 07, 1945 to Charles and Bessie Fusco.
Samuel married DonnaLee Fusco nee Olsen, August 26, 1967 in Elmwood Park, Il, and they shared 59 years of marriage. Samuel worked over 20 years as a Senior Courier Supervisor for Central Dupage Hospital. Family includes his children, Samuel ( Amy Lynn ) Fusco Jr., Amy Lynn ( David ) Belloli, and Gina Elizabeth ( Ranieri ) Luigi. Loving and Adored grandchildren, Aydan Samuel III Fusco, Ryan Samuel, Jack Patrick, Jason David Belloli, Isabella Marianna, McKenna Samantha Ranieri. Devoted siblings, the late Charles Fusco and the Late Phyllis ( the late Ken ) Netzel.
