Barbara A. Stolarczyk, 77, of Huntley, died peacefully on April 29, 2026, with her family by her side.
Barbara was born October 27, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Lorraine Cielen. On November 27, 1971, she married the love of her life, Richard Stolarczyk, and together they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion.
Barbara was the ultimate homemaker, always putting her family first and caring for them with warmth and dedication. She had a remarkable talent for crafting and sewing, creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished for years to come. She gave generously of her time, volunteering at St. Mary’s Church in Woodstock, where she was a special part of the annual Giving Tree project. Barbara also found joy in cooking for those she loved and spending time shopping, often finding the perfect touch for her home or gifts for others.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Richard; her children, Jason (Kate) Stolarczyk, Tony Stolarczyk, and Lauren (Scott) Schneeweis; her cherished grandchildren, Owen, Hannah, Camden, and Benjamin; and her brother, Jeffrey Cielen.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorraine; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Doreen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a service at 1:00 p.m., all at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
