Gary W. Bills, 76, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026 at home surrounded by the family by his side. Gary Born in Chicago on July 5, 1949 to Warren and Marilyn Bills.
Family lived in Skokie throughout his formable years. Gary loved sports and enjoyed playing both baseball and football. He was a graduate from Niles East. Gary served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Gallantry Cross and the Outstanding Unit Award Commemorative Medal.
Gary will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon and life partner of nearly 48 years. He was a devoted husband and father of three children, Garett and Brandon of Woodstock, and Briana of Hawaii. Gary also leaves behind a large family. Many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and fellow veterans.
