Obituary

Sara B. Loiacono, 76, of Huntley, passed away on May 27, 2026. She was born February 3, 1950 in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of William and Ella (Bowersox) McKee.

She is preceded by her husband, Peter Loiacono, her parents, and sister-in-law Ingrid McKee, her brother-in-law Denis and niece Cheri.

My sincere condolences to all of the family. My Dave would not have again met up with Blanche if we hadn't been active at WCCC. He saw his former pastor's obit in the New Community Weekly. We met up as couples and restarted a long ago friendship. Blance still had Dave's HS graduation picture! Dave always referred to Blanche as his HS Sweetheart. We traveled back to their hometown of Marion, IA & visited with Dave's mom who was still alive. Again my condolences.

I am so saddened to hear of my dear friend's death. Blanche and I were best friends since going to Judson. She got me my job at Chicago Rawride and became best friends also with Pete. Then they hired my husband to work for their accounting firm. We all were close at Willow. Until we moved to Texas, she and I were the best of friends. I am grateful for our relationship with the Lord so we will all be together some day!!!

We all wanted her to fight for living here on earth but God helped her to make the decision. She is now in the arms of Jesus. As much as I miss her, why would I want to bring her back. I will see her again. Save me a seat at the table! ❤️
